Artiez is delighted to be offering Speech & Drama lessons.
- In small groups
- In the form of drama workshops (school bookings available)
- On a one to one basis
Speech & drama classes involve a series of fun-filled learning activities, which aim to develop ongoing confidence, self-esteem and improve verbal communication. These lessons provide each student with the opportunity to develop clear & fluent speech whilst providing a secure environment in which to let the imagination run free. Students of all ages are encouraged to participate in drama through improvisation, poetry, movement & dance.
The lessons are a fantastic opportunity for children to explore different themes and ideas. The carefully structured classes introduce students to various ways of telling a story through creating characters, movement, voice, improvisation & word play. Students will create original stories as well as explore classic children’s literature to discover themes and ideas.
Here at Artiez, we offer professional training in vocal, physical expression and stagecraft. We also prepare students for drama school auditions, stage & screen auditions, for local speech and drama festivals & also LAMDA Examinations. These sessions take place twice a year and include the categories Verse & Prose, Acting, Public Speaking & Effective Communication.
If your school is interested in booking a workshop or your child would like private elocution tuition, then please do not hesitate to contact us for further information.

Very well done to the Artiez Sussex Rec Musical Theatre Class who took part in the Bradley Speech & Drama Festival back in November with a rendition of the poem – ‘The Spot On My Bum!’ You were all fabulous and 1st place was nothing short of what you deserve! Keep up the brilliant work!
These guys have done superbly well, receiving their LAMDA certificates from the December speech and drama examinations. Tejas achieved DISTINCTION in Verse and Prose Solo Introductory Speech and Megan achieved a MERIT in her Grade 2 Acting Exam. Well done to you both on all your hard work to get these results.
